Anyone get any pics of them actually on a wall? :)

Not from the current offer as the order's only just gone in but a couple of previous orders.

1) A2 mounted in a 50cm x 70cm frame

2) 20"x30" trimmed to fit a 50cm x 70 cm frame

I'll have a dig through them later & pop them on a web gallery

Always felt like quoting myself :D

yak.h'cir , I've bunged a few random shots from round Zakynthos here . I used Rawshooter to batch process/resize from the original RAW so quality has suffered a bit :(

I'm building up my motorsport portfolio. I have some 30x20 prints from last year and I'll order about 5 more this time around. My intention is to get them mounted on boards and collate them in a case.

So far i've processed these 2 images.

You guys have got some real good photos printed off there!

I went with this one, 30x20 from Thailand:

Looks really quite nice, as long as you take a few steps backwards :). I have to say that I am impressed with the quality, given that I have a lowly 4MP, and the jpeg compression was on high to fit more on the memory card :o

rpstewart - is this pic printed on Matt paper?

Yeah, they're both on matt. It's not an emulsion paint matt, there's a bit of a sheen but not enough to be reflective. I did a couple of the firework one as christmas gifts but forgot to pick matt paper and have regretted it ever since, the gloss paper is just too reflective.

Thank you very much! It's appreachiated!

5Mp should be plenty for A2 at least when viewed from a distance. I've got a 20"x30" print from a 4Mp original upscaled to 8Mp and it looks fine.

same here!

can't wait. I chose the cheapest delivery method, hope it survives the Royal Pain service.

Edit: I placed mine on the 25th. 9:00pm

I like your idea SDK^, hopefully I'll pick up some shots as nice as those on Saturday and Sunday when I am at Mallory for the Superbikes. I am still waiting for my Aston to come through, hopefully tomorrow.

On the 350d I think for the shot to look good at 30x20 I reckon its going to have to be a full framed and uncropped picture to look good.

Just out of interest why would you want a portfolio of prints that size?
