Taking on from the Motors 'off-topic' thread, I thought we could have a photography topic thread.

Instead of starting a new thread for every single piece of discussion, keep it all in here?

Now I'm not saying take away the equipment spec me threads or the photo threads but this could be a place for technique, lighting, ideas, poses, insulting Derek etc.

Sound good to others? :)
 
Well all right then an 'on-topic' thread if you like, just somewhere to banter and chat photos, save spamming up the forum so much :)

This can be whatever really, I assume it'll be mainly photography based :p but at the minute this sub section contains mostly

Spec me threads
The post your pictures here thread
The occasional picture thread of its own

So why not a thread where you can discuss anything and doesn't have to be strictly photography related but you'll be talking about it with people you regularly talk to on the forum.

It is inevitable that it will flow into photography chat, nature of the beast, but until then you get me spouting crap :)
 
separate thread for its own subject, having an 'all in one' can get annoying when looking for a quick answer and not searching for a particular quote.
 
Should we start by discussing Phate's hair?
