Its a piece of metal & resistors being with a detection chip - The games are coded to detect the card & then the physiscs are done in software mode, which is why performance lowers. The card is made for £1-£2 & the rest is profit split between Ageia & the software companies who are under an NDA (to ever prevent the truth from being revealed).
