Aah its not just me then. Can hardly make out the logo on my MX 1000. And I thought it was my sweaty hands. Ahem! :o

My old MX510 lost a bit round the edge, but the side buttons are just black where it wore off. My MX518 has a nice silver logo and perfect side buttons. :(

Ah yes. I just remembered that I've also managed to wear away the lining of the mouse where the thumb rests? Dunno how I did that but its rather obvious. That bit of the MX 1000 is a matt colour and the layer underneath is quite glossy. :(

Anyways thinking of getting a new mouse, my MX 1000 loves to interpret single clicks as double clicks. Gets rather ruddy annoying especially as it operates in a Jeckyl and Hyde fashion. One month it behaves, the next it doesn't and I scream myself hoarse. Oddly enough only Logitech do a nice wireless mouse so my next one could be from them. Hmm am I an idiot?

Honestly don't think I've seen a thread about desks that hasn't spun off into "how much has the logo on your mouse worn down?"...

Meh you are young, padawan. OcUKers are experts at diverting threads off tangent. Look at the "Post your girlfriend" thread for example, its turned into a "Phwoar GordyR is fit, if only I were a girl" thread. :D

Just sorted through a pile of papers that mounted up on the monitor stand (can't be too healthy for cooling the power adapter).

It's a Speedlink Competition Pro USB (SL-6602). Got it just over 2 years ago. The joystick was available from plenty of suppliers at the time, but can't link to any. The replacement model is transparent blue with sliver shaft and buttons.
