Pic: Your desk...RIGHT NOW

I jumped on the Ikea Alex bandwagon, here is where I liberally swing my banhammer from

its about 60cm going on those being an ikea alex units. desk tops just rest on top, they have little rubbery feet which stops it sliding but once its loaded up doesnt really shift around.

Nice thanks! I think the length of the worktop is a bit long for the room it would be going in but one side will be against a wall so could cut it down a bit perhaps!

there is layer of vinyl plastic stuff under it, but im so skilled you cant see it :cool:

The work surface just sits on top of 8 little plastic thingys to stop it moving, its fairly epic and I don't wax lyrical about many things, especially when they are cheap as chips :D

Also, where can I get me some of that vinyl plastic stuff? Have to have my case on a carpeted floor too, want to get it off there as much as possible. :)

its just some lino I had left from doing my bathroom, and the plastic thingies are just that, plastic thingies, like squidgy domed plastic things :p

ta, its an admiralty chart so shows all the low & deep water areas, channels and rocks etc.. quite funky, grabbed it on the bay for a fiver coz it's an out of date one so effectively invalid :D
 
On one side of the man-cave:

There is also a Buttkicker Gamer 2 attached to the underside of the chair.
There is normally a wireless keyboard and mouse in the little black table on the right side
Still got some cable tidying to do here!

Wow, my work space is looking fairly sad and unloved right now. Could do with a clean up!

Kit is a 2015 rMBP. One to the left is one of the MacBooks, iPad Air 2...Ummm, buckets of storage, about 20Tb I think, and those soundstick things. Apple Watch on my wrist, and 6S+ 128Gb used to take the photo.

All the stuff.
