Which Razer model is it? I don't game a lot but it'd be nice. Also I reckon my love affair with wireless mice might be coming to an end. My new Dell 20 inch has a USB port on it so I could have the Razer plugged in there, meaning I shouldn't have any problems with the length of the cable nor it snagging?

And what does the software do? Allow you to set button functions?

Looks like a deathadder to me :)

The cables on razer mice are about 100 miles long so that shouldn't be a problem. The software is for button config, profile config and dpi selection.

Its a deathadder, the cable is nice and long and sort of twisty to stop it tangling?

and the software changes the sensitivity / dpi and what each button does. usb polling rate aswell etc.

Ah. Thanks. The Deathadder is the new model non? Looks luvverly. Does the logo on the mouse light up or is it just some coloured plastic?

Lol I've just been on the official Razer site and they say the cable is 7 foot long. :D Over the top or what?!

the logo is lit up its fades on and off. looks SUPERB. and yes its like a smaller logitech type shape the material on the top is very nice, like rubbery plastic.

Grr stop IT!! You'll make me spend all my money.:D

I cant get over a premium mouse with a lead. Its always going to give some slight friction or alter feeling slightly since its not zero weight.

I think you guys are just used to it and so account for it being there without realising, mine always used to get caught/snag at a vital time so I wouldnt go back personally

I found the G5 to be good in that respect... because of the adjustable weights you can make your mouse heavier so you notice the cord less :) whereas the razers are so damn light! so the least little thing and you notice it

Keep this thread going, I like being nosey...

I ditched my dell and bought a 20" iMac. My desk just got that little bit sexier.
