Desk top is solid oak.

Still working on the room as decorating it has been a long time coming but it's coming together.

The inside of the case is properly dusty so I also need to give it a clean.

I still have to move the pictures, add some shelves and some other storage, get a new chair and a few other finishing touches then I am all set.

I can’t remember the last time I saw a landline phone on a home desk.

It's not quite a land line, it's a h323 IP phone back to my office in London, I don't actually have a land line

I had that (or very similar) and it was a pain in the arse to keep clean. Never having a glass desk again. It did look good when clean though.

Agreed, loved it while I had it but it was an absolute nightmare to keep clean. Difficult to hide wires on that bad boy as well.

mine is about the same age. I think it came from Littlewoods way back then! It used to be silver but I painted it white.

It's looking all sorry for itself in the garage now though waiting to go to a new home. It had a good run but I needed something bigger.
