I only paid £350 for it, it's an Advent 7302, core duo 1.7GHz, 1gb ram, 70gb hdd.

Much, much better spec than mine. Some rubbish Intel Celeron chip, 512Mb RAM and 40Gb HDD.

that'd be the standard dell keyboard they ship with all the optiplex systems. we get quite a few faults with these at work, mainly the keys not processing.

saying that, theyre better than the previous revision for the GX620s, we had to waranty call these bad boys every day

Might have to get one, I like the look of it, are the keys good quality or loose and clicky? If you know what I mean, using a Saitek Eclipse atm and the keys are brilliant.

AS above, its a dell multimedia USB.

I agonised for ages about a new one, which had to look good, settled on this.

Quite happy so far, they keys re bit "clipity-clacky" in terms of noise, but very good action, the spacebar feels a little loose, but it depresses down in an even manner, even if you touch the far end.
all in all a good all round board for those that want a traditional layout with full size butons KB with modern conetmpory looks.

I'm at my girlfriends for crimbo so this is her sort of desk and i'm on my macbook pro eating some bubble & squeak with some chili chutney yum yum which she made for me.

Its a hard life sometimes

Heres a better shot of the KB ... quite suprisingly, all the short cut and media keys worked fine straight out of the box, in WMP.

only volume and mute seems to work in winamp.
