Nice picture, it looks a bit grainy like it's close up printed on canvas, is that the processing? (still looks good, I'm just puzzled)

First of all - thank you very much.

The grain is deliberately added during processing, in hindsight perhaps a smoother finish "might" have been better?

I think this shot is fantastic but I would be tempted to remove the light from the left as it detracts from the focal point of the image.

Giving this photography thing a try of late but this is one I took a whole four years ago using a lowly iPhone 4. Always been pleased with it.

Doesn't compete with what's in this thread, but I like it.
