[PIC_THREAD] Landscapes, Architecture, Seascapes

Nah, took a few shots at F16 and F8/11, tried different things out, but as the light was looking less dramatic very quickly it was the best shot at F22...definitely want to get a 10 stop though, love those really long exposures at Sea. Shame I live a 2 hour drive away from the nearest coast !

The sea is great but there's a million and one shots out there of long exposure sea shots with their soft/blurry water.

What I like about the first one is the blurred cloud of a long exposure but the reflection of the relatively still water :) hard to find the sea being still hehe. It's also hard to get still water and moving clouds together since the clouds need wind to move but that makes waves!

Had some lovely mist yesterday and today so I took advantage of it during an afternoon errand. I think I prefer the lower contrast rendering of the last image that virtually came straight out of the camera. I was also pleased to see the metering on the D810 didn't require any compensation too.

Guys, can i remind you of the rules please about posting images....

You may post images providing they are hosted by a well known image hosting website, such as imageshack, photobucket etc.. Directly linking to images on other sites that are not expressly for that purpose (known as Hotlinking) is not permitted. Hotlinked images will be removed with an infraction notice issued. Repeat offenders will be suspended. The sharing of images from your own personal web-space is acceptable providing you are the owner and give permission to do so. However, the OCUK moderation team reserve the right to replace or remove any image that is suspicious of being hotlinked or unknowingly hosted by a members personal web-space, as it is not possible to identify those where permission has been granted or otherwise. Such decisions will not be overturned. To avoid complication, we strongly advise that all images are hosted by a image host as mentioned above, which can be easily identified as so. Images containing nudity, adult or offensive material, including swearing are prohibited. Please check your images before posting. No watermarks or URLs for sites containing content that wouldn't normally be allowed such as competitors, adult sites etc. Any images of such nature will be removed and your account immediately suspended or banned. Unless otherwise agreed by the moderation team, images must be no wider than 1280 pixels wide. The only exception to this are images posted in
tags.

Not posted a pic here before, so thought this might be a good start.
Taken last year at Bewdley when the flood barriers were put up. As you can see, they were very much needed.

You might want to resize that down to something reasonable so it adheres to the forum rules :) 1280 max res I believe! :P

The best bit is the large pic is still in his quote! It does break the forum though :D
