Here's a couple of recent ones of mine. Taken using a 50mm and Raynox DCR250. Am hoping to treat myself to a Sigma 105mm in a couple of months.

I've been away from photography for a while, but have just started getting out there again.

Shield bugs are brilliant. They are so curious they crawl up stems to get closer to you.

The insect world has a serious lack of charisma but they shine IMO

This guy has just taken up residence outside our kitchen door. Thankfully we rarely open it so he's undisturbed so far. Makes me want to splash out on a decent macro lens like a Minolta 100mm F2.8 - most likely from Japan. I took some with the mini beercan 35-70 F4, and some with the 50mm F1.7, both with +4 close up filter but was able to get slightly closer with the zoom. Was able to bump the shadows a bit, even though I shoot JPEG.
