The original Red Alert. With Steam friends intergrated and engine updated to work with xp, vista and windows 7, without any issues. Graphics and units etc should remain pretty much unchanged.

One... that makes it hard as theres hundreds of games out there I'd like updated. For me it comes down to whats going to be played the longest which means its a toss up between Asherons Call and Elite.

Asherons Call would probably just win on the basis that I still play it today and it has room for expansions.

MOHAA - The only fps I've played where the feel was perfect. Transition from brain to mouse to screen was spot on, and yeah I agree none of this kiddy perk crap.

I only ever played the demo of this back in the day. I played COD1 a lot though, very similar to this. No annoying perks.

the original empire earth on a new engine just for graphical goodness. The official EE2 was too different with the introduction of territories and number of building limits (and the nuke bombers were rubbish compared to the original XD). EE3 was just wierd, end of.

Holiday Island was a game that was very fun at the time I remember.

Just make it 1080p on either PS3 or PC (don't mind which) plus higher res textures and I will be happy.
Leave the gameplay exactly as it is, even the speach bubbles.

Zombi from 1987. It states 1990 on this website but that's not right, it was earlier than that. It was based on the orginal movie Dawn of the Dead. Could do with a FPShooter

. Games today are large, think I finished that game in a few hours if that. Finishing it just involved a bit of luck I think.

Okay it was a crappy game really but just popped into my head at random.

I agree Prophecy was good but not worthy of a remake. As for Heart of the Tiger and The Price of Freedom - video gaming doesn't get any better when Luke Skywalker and Biff from Back to the Future are in the same game!

Personally I would like to see Tie Fighter or X-wing Vs Tie Fighter: Balance of Power remade or maybe Thief 2.
