Pick one game you wish they did an updated version of.

For me, Dungeon Keeper. Same engine, just updated resolutions and textures.

Doesn't need to be 3d, doesn't need any balancing or changes or new creatures... just better resolution.

Was going to agree on carmageddon but then i remembered something else: Twisted Metal 2. Not its poor pc version but the console one. Updated to todays standards and properly ported onto the PC (and yes i am aware ps3 is getting one end of the year). Add steam integration and you get countless hours of fun.

I'm tempted to get a ps3 for the new Twisted Metal, I posted some videos and trailers for it in the console section here.

Twisted Metal and Twisted Metal 2 were absolutely fantastic games, some of my fondest memories from the old Playstation revolve around the hours of split screen action we had.

I'd agree with Dungeon Master, but in fact I'll go with Tony Crowther's Captive. Same game principle but in a SciFi Setting and much better (at least for me) with about 10 000 levels.

+1 on captive, played that game for many many hours :D

I completely agree. I loved MOHAA and the doors added an extra dimension to tactics.

Indeed, playing Obj clan matches on V2 was all about listening and watching for doors, sitting behind doors, it created so much tension, where as modern run and gun games loose all of that.

Games like raven shield and swat 4 you can freely open doors as little or much as you liked and roll some nades in.

FPS ames have got lazy, they don't add cool features into games now, it's so basic and boring and 1 dimensional.

Hopefully soon we will get a clan friendly game. cod4 was the last one really, no big communities in anything since.

Lucky for me, I already have a PS3, but would much prefer a PC version.

Thats been in development for so long now that I doubt it'll ever see the light of day.

Meh, a lot of people said Duke Nukem would never see light of day either, best things come to those who wait.

Not to be a cynic or a party pooper, but I dont want any of my favourite games to be remade, they allways end up being ****.

Can someone name a single remake/update/reboot which was better than the original? Reboots are the biggest kop outs in the gaming industry.
