How do you want your team to line up come August?

I'm hoping Newcastle keep our main players, and sell off some of the deadwood (Obertan, Gosling, Sh Ameobi). Then add strength in depth. I'm fairly happy with the first team provided they are fully fit, and played in their best positions (come on Pardew).

I think Sagna has one more good season in him, and I'm not sure who would replace him anyway. As to the LB slot, I admit, it's a bit of a 50/50, but I think Gibbs fits more atm. Monreal may need a full season at the club to really settle in.

I'd definitely have Jenks over Sagna, the latter has been living off reputation for years, he's awful these days.

If we sign Cavani then it is a bit more difficult!

Bench: GK, Richards, Milner, Barry, Garcia, Guidetti and Nasri.

Thiago in there is just me hoping but if he doesn't sign then Milner in as a CM and Razak on the bench in his place.

Don't think we'll get Thiago, but Strootman looks a possibility, otherwise I have faith that Cleverley will progress this season with Kagawa. Would expect both Rio and Vidic to be fazed out throughout the season, my preference would be Smalling and Jones over Evans.
 
With the number of rumours surrounding our team and the injury to Sturridge, which could keep him out at the start of the season, this is the best I can come up with :o

All depends who we buy of course and depending on form I would play Kagawa behind RvP but would like to see RvP behind Hernandez as well.

Valencia/Young will be rotated with Zaha and Nani if he's still here but I think we should definitely be looking at upgrading Tony V and Young.
