Bench: Fabianski, Gibbs, Vermaelen, Coquelin, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Arteta, Giroud

If we don't buy a defensive mid I would just carry on playing Arteta as the deepest midfielder and rotate him with Le Coq. If we do sign a proper defensive midfielder then Arteta can rotate with Cazorla and Wilshere.

Best bit is that it is very possible.

However it is looking likely that we will sign Isco rather than Thiago. Isco isn't really a central midfielder so I think we could see Milner at CM or even Nasri who I think is wasted out wide.

No point putting fantasy buys like Higuain and Rooney in, I'll wait and see who we actually sign.

Most interesting point of note is 4 out of my back 5 seemingly weren't first choice for Wenger based on some of his selections towards the end of the season (before Fabianski got injured).

Agree with all of your first XI apart from Vermaelen. I really am interested to see if we get a couple of big names this window.

Rumours are that Crouch will be gone, big mistake in my opinion he can still score, put him up front with a couple of quick players either side and watch the goals fly in.

Gives Adam the freedom he had at Blackpool by having two midfielders next to him to do the leg work.
