Picked up my new car this weekend........955hp V10 Audi RS6! (HP figure updated 08/10/22)

I remember reading about running costs and they are pretty eye watering from what I remember?

Makes my m3 seem fairly cheap in comparison :p

Was thinking, after seeing your posts in the meet thread, 'I'm sure he sold his RS6...' and now it's explained! Car looks good, those brake pads are crazy :o Hope to get a ride at the next RR day

SS-89 - Compared to my C5 RS6 it's pocket money, well apart from the brakes and if you avoid Audi and their ridiculous hourly rates!

A major service is £750 from a specialist (£550 minor), the engine and gearbox are virtually bullet-proof along with the suspension (both massive C5 RS6 issues) but brakes are a tadge over £1200 per axle for discs & pads

Mine has an extremely good warranty and I think you'd be a bit silly to buy something like this without one, just in case!

Yh fair enough I think it was main dealer rates. Sheesh on brakes and discs that's not cheap! Still awesome stuff I look forward to taking a peek on the weekend and will definitely want a ride lol!

I remember taking one of those for a test drive before picking up my SLK. Seriously powerful and fun car. The car itself is not for me, but I am sure you will have a lot of enjoyment out of it, just try not to lose your licence!

Lovely car (except the black wheels of course....subjective though!)

+150bhp from a remap, filters and cat delete sounds like a lot? I guess it does have two turbos to max out!

Be careful on the tuning numbers. I had a friend who had one of these and had some mad numbers claimed about it's BHP figure after a remap that were miles off when tested on a rolling road. It was incredibly quick still, but the outputs claimed were ambitious. It will be interesting to hear how you find it on track. My advice is don't try to carry too much speed into a corner as Audi's will not deal with that very well, but use the power coming out and down the straight bits. I found myself having to drive my RS4 slower than I wanted into a corner or else it just understeered like an oil tanker on ice.

25% from a remap isn't a lot? My 200bhp car had 50bhp from just a remap - his is 3 times the increase but 3 times the starting power!
