Picked up the new scirocco

I know a few people who are studying in Prague doing Med / Dentistry. You save a year from what I hear and it works out cheaper even with the costs of travelling home a couple of times a year.
Nice car aswell, not something I'd buy for that money but I've been in a friends and it's a nice place to be and well built. His was the 1.4 and it seemed fairly nippy.

what's the downside to the diesel? I was about to buy the 170 tdi for her indoors
no idea, except it will sound like a tractor. The 1.4 TSI would probably be nicer and I assume it will not cost much more to run.

It does not really work out cheaper anymore (it was in the past) the cost of living has gone crazy here. However given a choice I would study here, the quality of life is so much better and I am generally not a huge fan of the uk.

Two problems.

Yah he is 23 but he drives my dad's 335i when he is home. He is not really the boy racer sort of kid. I am the one that should not have been allowed to have a fast car in my early 20's
how many miles a year will you really do? Its probably still not worth just to save a couple of hundred quid a year.

haha, i was going to remove the 'D' and replace it with an M badge, lets face it babe you would have fallen for it
yearly mileage on the road warrior car, maybe 8-10k, lots of french alp trips and constant cornish ale refilling visits. Its not that I care about shoving the mileage on my car, its just that after 200 miles it stops becoming fun and starts becoming hugely uncomfortable
