2001 BMW M3
Manual 6 speed, Coupe,
47,000 miles
FSH 3 BMW 1 specialist
Metallic Phoenix Yellow,
19" Alloys,
Full Black Leather,
Satellite Navigation,
AirconClimate Control,
Cruise control,
Electric Memory Seats,
Electric mirrors,
Electric windows,
Electric sunroof,
Headlight washers,
Harmon Kardon Sound System,
Park distance control

And all for £19,790 (Main Stealer wanted 25k for same age but higher milage car)

That is a bargain. So much car for the money. I have allways loved that colour too. You don't want an M3 and it not to stand out a bit.

Those alloys look all wrong, they look like the cheap replicas you get on F reg "replicas".

they are the standard M3 wheels

If you still are looking to get you wheels redone I will get the details of who did the ones on mine and take pictures of them as they were a bit curbed and the centres on the rears had started to go milky in tru m3 stylie ;)

They're exactly the same as the alloys on Steve's car, just think the tyres are a different profile, I like it, don't have a problem with grey leather either.

they are different wheels the on on the link ar ethe standard 18 inch wheels for a M3 , steve's ( and mine ) are 19 inch wheels which are on optional extra , they do look quite different in real life

Boooo car is still with the main dealer as the satnav is still fubar'd still I want it to be right.

The dealer has been so apologetic, he is even going to drive it down to me (80ish miles) when it is done on Tuesday (hopefully)

oh well :(

Will have loads of pics up when I get her peeps don't you worry!

As for the wheels they are genuine optional extras, the 18s are nice as more of a dark polished grey but far too small for the big arches. Also with the black inside edges and flatish face they are a doddle to keep clean ;)

Nice car

Your not going to remove the buttons like you said you were going to still are you?

lol I have somewhat calmed down on the buttons after my normal over-reaction ;)

Still dislike them with a passion but am looking just to get the blighters to initially start with sport mode on and DSC off, but leaving them there so in poor conditions I can turn DSC back on (snow/ice etc)

I learnt to respect both my bike and my e36 m3 due to the tail happy nature of both, being able to stick the pedal to the floor and just let DSC sort it out will never let you master the car and promotes poor throttle control.

Also I like the back stepping out at roundabouts etc, I know you can turn it off but sometimes I will be already going around the thing when I fancy dabbing the throttle for some slidy slidy fun, not the best time to lung for the DSC button.

I allways let my car/bike warm up but I do drive them hard everyday (blah blah child killer etc), thats why I bought them and not something sensible. Every set of lights just makes me smile when I catch a red as I know my sences are about to get a treat.

I love driving, even if I am just going to work, I pay for the extra wear and tear with pleasure and do not skimp on anything, if she needs it she gets it.

Don't get me wrong I don't rag it everywhere and they are a nice cruising car as well, but there is nothing like a 1st, 2nd, 3rd blast shifting just before the limiter each change at least once in every journey :D

LOVE the sound of M3's......you hear it rev, thats the redline........no its not another 3000rpm to go......sounds unbelievable. :(
