Picking up the E46 M3 Tomorrow!

they are still selling quite well , the 2nd hand market is dead in general but the M3 is not particualarly suffering

cars are coming in at sub 20k now , usually 50k+ miles and y reg

choice of colour can save you quite a bit , white and smurf blue being the cheapest followed ( to a lesser extent ) by PY ( PY is a very personal colour , some love it , some hate it ) , the highest prices ones are Carbon Black , Estoril blue followed by the various grey/silvers

the one you have shown looks very cheap , wonder why it hasn't shifted at that price :confused:

quite a few about at that money and year. Mate of mine is selling a 51 cabby in blue and its on at 21,750 and it wont shift. only 40k aswell.

Chatting on the m3 boards seems its pretty hard to shift em at mo, dont know why but values will hold, especially after maybe a small drop when new m3 arrives.

That one on pistonheads seems to have no Sat Nav which would put 99% of people off.

No car today

apparantly it wouldn't take the software update because the previous owner had tried to do some for mof update that failed leaving the car with an intresting mixture of software versions or something.

The main dealer had to get BMW UK to dig out ye oldie software so as to flash the car back to factory level, so that they could then update to the latest version.

The update can take up to 8 hours!!!

I think they need to get of the 2400baud modems and get broadband!!!!

Oh well should be tomorrow now

everything has been going wrong the last month

One of the guys who works at my gym has been giving me crap for months and has really upset my ex and my new misses so today he made a comment and I totally lost it.

I had to walk away as I was going to chin him, I am so not like that.

My misses sister was there and she was really shocked. Think she has a bad (unjust) opinion of me now. He has been riding me for months and today was the wrong day for him to do it

don't think the lack of satnav would put many off , the m3 satnav is pretty crap , the main thing that puts buyers off is a car without 19 inch wheels

What kinda crap, (yes i'm nosy) the staff at my gym tend to keep themselves to themselves unless you ask for advice etc.

That was my thinking too, although the sat nav gives the interior a lot more pressence and you can set it to a bmw screensaver etc, certainly worth an extra £500 or so, perhaps not over £1500 though, tom tom is great for the odd trip.

Basically he was proper stalking my current GF and went round telling everyone that I cheated on my ex with her. Hes a freak and I have been ignoring him.

He is a renound perv on the women and I know loads of people who have left because of him, no one will complain as management love him.

It is a real gossip den my gym

Sat Nav wouldn't bother me and tbh not having 19s would either, but then I'm a bit weird and tend to like smaller rims

They are deffinatly coming down in price soa year or two should see another few K coming off

The e36 M3 is still a very good buy and one that I would highly recomend

I'd have said that myself. It may be a case of it just can't be updated. Maybe they have to alter the unit in someway to erase the damaged firmware.
