Picky ebayers!!!???

Should have been in your description. I would be enclined to worry that there were other things wrong with it because you kept that a secret from the buyer.

Could have sold it as no returns accepted, would have hurt the final price a bit but stops this business dead in it's tracks.

If it was genuinely bust i would still entertain a return, but it usually stops the muppets from trying it on.

As said too many idiots.

I personally don't see a problem with his e-mail. He wasn't rude or anything.

I'd have sent something similar just to make the seller aware if it wasn't mentioned in the listing or shown in the picture(s). He's obviously happy enough that the damage is merely cosmetic, and has left you feedback.

/shrug

Surely visible from the picture on the listing thought

From that small picture it looks fine to me. Sellers upload such tiny low quality pictures expecting us to have FBI like image reconstruction methods to see such flaws.

A nice 800x600 picture would've been better with maybe 2 more at different angles.
I avoid listings without decent pictures because it's such a hassle if you get it and it looks not so like it was shown.

PS - Paypal have been doing that witholding money crap since 2008. So now you've experienced it you'll know the importance of leaving others feedback.
