It’s good and has gone into an upstairs bedroom close to the window, pointing in the general direction of Crystal Palace sitting behind a TV.

Picked up all the normal Freeview channels with excellent signal strength/quality. It has achieved its aim of getting the Freeview HD channels. Signal strength is excellent and quality is around 25% which is ok for reception. It’s also managed to get 2 more sets of the HD channels.

Bear in mind we are in a good area for reception and it will do for now. I will be getting a roof top connection at some point in time. I got it from Aerial Shack for £22.98, which includes postage.

It's called a nanode and it's essentially an Arduino (programmable micro-controller) with an Ethernet port on it. It allows you to make devices to interact with the Internet, I've got a cool little project that I'll probably be posting in the ***Official Electronics Thread of Officialness*** soon.

Interested. The 'internet of things' is the future.

Does it heat water ridiculously quickly? I've got an MSR pocket rocket, which has always been my lightweight/small option.

I got this to replace my pocket rocket which I dropped and dented quite badly, it now wont stay lit at the slightest hint of a breeze The Jetboil boils half a litre of water in about 2 minutes on max and they say you will get 12 litres of boiled water out of one of the 100g gas canisters.

Only problem is its not as compact or lightweight as I would have liked, it weighs 680g with the gas inside it and even though everything packs inside the main cup its a bit bulky. There are smaller and lighter options like the Zip and Sol versions but the Sols are much more expensive and I got this one for very cheap in comparison off ebay.
