Thats kinda cool... But what if the thing dies... Seems strange.

I have no idea if I was right about it, but I guess it looks like that kinda thing :)

Guess if that dies, and your phone dies, ya hooped! lol

edit : ahaaaa, it was indeed

Useful for longer than normal journeys like a flight or something where you might not have access to a power supply. Or a weekend away camping and your camera battery dies.

Absolute comedy gold from the early '80s.

Can't wait for this to arrive. :)

Yup, portable battery pack. Charge it and yu can use it to recharge mobiles, tablets, camera batterys, etc. This has USB ports and a selection of common adapters.

Wont charge tablets :( Comes up as an X.

Guess its either a trickle charge or it just keeps the battery level.

Had one for a couple of months and just sits in my bag to work and is used as a backup

this interests me, what are your first impressions!

Well its good, also runs MAME. Everything is on the web to download onto the SD card.

If you youtube it you can see some reviews and how stuff runs. Had a bit of a faf getting all the emulators and roms on and running right, took me 2 days but now its pretty much 100%. Neo geo runs almost everything perfect. Snes has a little bit of slow down on some titles but most run good, everything else is ok. Not tried playstaion yet, from what ive seen it runs but not that well. The emulators all alow you to save state so you can pick up play and then put it down when you like.

oh and I put a film on there in XVID and it plays it fine! very surprising, battery life is about 4-5 hours, recharges from a usb lead. Cost me £100 from a UK shop.

This thing is awesome, already piled on nes, snes, master system, megadrive, amiga, neo geo, cps2, spectrum, amstrad, atari and playstation emulators :D

Now the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is cheap (£150 ish) is there any benifit of this over the Play?

I'm assuming the Play has a nicer screen.

No idea, the Caanoo is £100 so thats quite a saving, depends what you want really. I cant see that Xperia Play for anywhere near £150 dont know where your shopping? £250 looks more the norm.
