I considered it. Figured in the end that it worked out cheaper for the features I was getting.

I'll be using the touchscreen element quite heavily along side the keyboard. Also, I already own a laptop - just has an awful battery life xD

Plus I like the weight of the tablet (or lack of)

It was certainly an option though, just settled with this in the end - and it was much easier to convince the funding parents that this would be a good Christmas present than a laptop xD

I disagree, features/cost would be better with a laptop, but fair enough. What are you getting engraved on it?
