I disagree, features/cost would be better with a laptop, but fair enough. What are you getting engraved on it?

Depends on what you're aiming for.

I need something where I can easily type up notes, but also sketch something in really quickly, with great battery life as well :) So quite useful. Anyway, money is spent now xD

Also, getting mobile number and:
Put A Ding In The Universe

(The other way around)

I have bought a watch, a pen and got given some free stuff from a shop.

The pen is cos I needed one for work, and wanted something weighty and shiney :D

The FCUK Watch is amazing in the 'flesh' just my poorly lit room and iPhone 3GS cam...

The Bargain Booze key-ring and lanyard were for freshers fortnight at BB shops near Uni's, I just asked and got :D

After I ripped loads of skin off my hands doing up the bolts while I assembled parts of this:

Yes, that's four sections of Alimast, each one is 2.5m long for a total of 10m with another 1-2m of stub mast out the top.

What will you be using it for out of intrest?

To start with it'll have a Cushcraft MA5B mini beam on the top. Here it is (bought in September, collected in October), with the elements assembled and laying across the boom.

The longest element there is a tad over 17ft long.

Is that going to be used at home or ferried around for competitions?

Purely at home, and it all needs to be up in the next two weeks ready for the CQWW SSB contest that takes place over the last weekend of October. This is drifting OT..

Received the 580gtx the other day and had to get a new motherboard so that I can space my cards better.

Got these today: ASRock extreme 7, i7 2600K and 16 GB GSkill 1600mhz 7-8-7-24. Still waiting for another water res and rad so will run it on the stock cooler for a couple of days.
