Because their are tons of fakes of the IE8 about right now on the market, so it depends where you got it from really, if you got it from a certified seller of sennheiser then you should be ok but if it's off the bay or the rainforest I would worry.

There is a wholepost here dedicated to spotting a fake IE8 - I bought some off ebay for what I though was the bargain price of £80 - but they were fakes. If you paid less than £160 they are more than likely fake.

Anyway here is what I have so far - a few favourite albums and a Fiio L9 and E6

I've brought a pair before of bay and they was fakes. I made a case and the person was making out they ain't fake and in the end I got refunded.

So, he then appealed against it so I had to get in contact with the company and get them to pass on a letter to ebay saying they are fakes.

Last time I buy anything like that of ebay.

Where did you get the RE0's from? I have the E6, it's my first portable amp, but it makes a pretty large difference to my Sony X series Walkman.

Really varies depending on what headphones and power source your using.
