On a mission for the right lighting and colours, this dropped through the postbox today from ebay, a 6500k "daylight" energy saving bulb.

Before: (normal Philips energy saver)

After:

A picture doesn't fully give the difference you see in reality tbh, it's like there's daylight outside and the curtains are wide open instead of a warm yellow light making everything look slightly yellow, is nice :D

You never pointed out that the first one I posted was was wrong. It's all the same end result.

Actually yes I did and posted the correct link to the right product, and no, the one you linked to is for a different purpose!

Any good? the difference between my Windows viewer, Lightroom and Browser is very frustrating to deal with.

Initial thoughts are that it does what it says on the tin, as with all things like this though, need some weeks to continue using it and see how it fares!

mrk, them L4D posters you have, how much ink did you use printing them off?

I fancy doing it myself, but am not sure if it's cheaper just to buy some off eBay then print them myself.

I don't really know! We get free ink at work so I used the A3 colour laser one morning :p

Edit*
Wallpaper is staying until later in the year when renovations start :p

Well I've posted from the kitchen before but yes, I do all my editing here so you would expect so :p I don't have a money tree to be able to buy the same monitors and computer for every room!

Guess I will ask my brother to do the same, he's offered to do it a long time ago, but had a hard time tracking some nice HD pictures for it.

Also, I kinda like his wallpaper, it's nice.

Got a few canvas pictures made up ...

(Look a lot better when they are not taken with a mediocre phone camera and aren't still wrapped in plastic). Each one is 60x80cm.
