Out of interest, did they have to ask permission to put scaffolding up or did they notify you out of courtesy?
They did come and ask us, about 6 months ago and it's taken this long to finally get around to it. They needed access to our backyard/patio area to mount the scaffolding due to their conservatory (which is slightly on my land but that's one of the many issues with them )
We've had a bumpy history with them, mainly because, well, they are a bit weird. They've had 2 dogs that have yapped all day when they were out, he has night terrors and screams at night because he thinks he is in a burning plane, lots of decorating noise and hoovering at all hours of the day and night because it's what they do when they are anxious. We never raised any of it as an issue because, well, it's part and parcel of being a good neighbour but that didn't stop her causing a massive scene in the street because we refused a cat house for our cat so he wasn't outside during the day....
I made them aware of the Sky dish issue but there's nothing they can really do, I attached it to the scaffolding but it still doesn't get a good signal due to the angle and the boards. I've taken it down for now and have to keep popping out and aligning it so we can unlock the box. He's offered to pay to have it refitted if we need it and he's also paid to have all our guttering cleaned out.
If I am honest, it's nice not having the TV. We have kodi and films/tv shows through the network when we want them.
