Pimp my room

They sell it by pack which is £16,73 a pack.
you need 6 packs of them which comes to £100,38. You might just about manage with 5 packs... // Actually 5 will be enough wont it!

Yep.
Total area is 10.56m² (then add 7% for error margin) so you need enough to cover 11.35m² (5 packs @ 2.39m² per pack). Depends how confidant you are at laying it (laminate is easy). Don't forget underlay and your edging finish (either cut the skirting so it slots under or use moulded beading).

Yes its cheap. Never used IKEA for flooring so can't comment on the quality.

I'd suggest trying out various mattresses first and buying from somewhere you know. You spend 1/3 of your life in bed pretty much so don't skimp on cost if you help it.

I'd be wary of prices that low personally.

Most obvious change to me is to by hook or by crook get the desk into the alcove area (maybe even shorten or swap it if necessary, that will be not only efficient on space but also look better in terms of being mostly out of sight when you enter the room). You could then mount a shelf above it for storage. (Actually this seems pretty much what your photoshop mockup suggests!). Don't forget you've got the interior wall to the right of the desk to consider for shelving too although be careful about how much load it can take.

Difficult to tell from pics but looks tricky to fit in a decent sized wardrobe with a double bed so may need to get creative. Divan for storage may be a good option.

As I meantioned his room is pretty much same size and the same layout as what we have and it is a good space if you use it right. His obviously has the radiator in the wrong place though for the layout we used but it still is plenty big enoug for wardrobe.

Anyways I would again say go for a good quality bed with storage and a good mattress. This is a bedroom after all and it is mainly for sleeping.
Paint and the laminate wont be too much so spent a little on the bed!

All I've done so far in this program. It might seem a waste of time, but I'm generally enjoying learning new things and designing.

Everything is 100% to scale, OCD is real :D

I quite like the mounted TV on that wall, so going with that for now. I might get some models in for a standard double bed (135 cm x 190).

But that goes in a boot! No, what you need is a nice 1821 Pattern cavalry sabre. I'm glad that's just been decided. :)

Nah.. I'd prefer something like this instead, minus the pistol in a wooden/glass frame (not red, ew). Not a real one, of course.

I really like this bed, but the dimensions are probably a bit too big for my room. I won't have much to work with:
