Pin your colours to the mast 2011

McLaren - With Ron Dennis long gone from the scene, I'm growing to like them. Jenson's my driver to cheer for.

Williams - I've always waved a flag for these boys, but one wonders for how much longer.

Team Lotus, whichever one that is. :D

I'm also a fan of Mr. Kobayashi. Here's hoping for more crazy last of the late breakers moments. And, despite his childish tantrums, Mr. Alonso too. :o

I think that covers it.

what are the odds for all the drivers this year?

Alonso 3/1
Vettel 3/1
Hamilton 9/2
Schumacher 14/1
Webber 14/1
Rosberg 14/1
Button 16/1
Kubica 16/1
Massa 33/1

100/1 or higher the rest. If your brain has gone walkabouts you can back D'Ambrosio at 1999/1.

Constructors:

Red Bull 7/4
McLaren 5/2
Ferrari 5/2
Mercedes 9/1
Renault 22/1
Williams 66/1
Force India 80/1
Sauber 100/1

I've supported Williams for ages and ages so will carry on hopefully with them getting nearer the front. I liked the idea of Lotus being back last year, and will carry on supporting the plucky new team "Team Lotus".

I think/hope McLaren with Button and Hamilton will be up for the championships!

This. It just wouldn't be F1 without the red cars!

You are correct - it would actually be a fair competition if Ferrari werent present :D

McLaren (although I will always have a soft spot for Williams)

C'Mon the Brits!!:D (especially Button, but I fear the team have built a lemon, a lovely looking lemon but a lemon none the less)

errrmm those odds look wrong to me ......Kubica @16/1 (16 Million to 1 possibly)

Must get a bet on this year, tipped you and never bothered myself last year

Im surprised you are allowed to bet (it surely isnt that different from a football player betting for/against his own side)

Nothing against you personally of course - just interested :)

Do you think the man that cleans the kit for a team can bet or one of the youth team coaches, there are hundreds of football club employees that can make a bet. The same is true for F1. A premiership footballer betting is not the same as a guy that works for the team.

He's not actually taking part in the event and can bet without problem.

McLaren are main team as always, with Team Lotus as my "B" team.

To be honest though, so long as I enjoy the races, I'm not against anyone being successful... except Ferrari and Alonso ;).

Doesnt CS design / fabricate parts? Not at all the same as brushing the floor or anything that you mentioed

All I was meaning was that due to his position (if Im correct) he can directly affect a race (potentially bad for the team, but it could still make him money betting the wrong way)
Never intended to imply he would do this - but it would be a reason not to allow certain members of every team not to bet

Look when it was posted - the day before his accident.

It looked more recent than the accident, sorry must have misread the date :)

I wasn't comparing CS to a cleaner, the fact remains he is an employee the same as the canteen lady at uniteds training ground, who can also influence a result with a bad batch of pies, I think yesterday she did ;) It would be impossible to police betting from people who work at teams and clubs and besides footballers just have someone else put a bet on for them anyway :D

To draw the line on who could and couldn't bet in a racing team would not be worth the bother. Especially when as a team event they already influence results with no1 and no2 drivers.

If they really cared they would outlaw that as it effects us all betting rather than CS's £2.50 on RedBull to win the title ;)
