Man of Honour
5hrs, sounds like they dragged it out for some fun knowing that if they got bored they could hit the red button on whatever big gun they had to hand - I know I would
It took the German naval ship and Greek, Dutch and Spanish naval ships as well as a Spanish marine aircraft and US marine choppers 5 hours to catch
They'll be on benefits quicker than you can say "Stop!"
THE Royal Navy, once the scourge of brigands on the high seas, has been told by the Foreign Office not to detain pirates because doing so may breach their human rights.
Warships patrolling pirate-infested waters, such as those off Somalia, have been warned that there is also a risk that captured pirates could claim asylum in Britain.
....*sigh* ok, well, I would have thought that a military ship would look sufficiently different from a freighter.

And none of these military ships can deploy speedboats?
Too bad the Americans mothballed the Iowa class battleship. I would just have loved to see USS Missouri engage it with it's 9 x 16" guns.
not really, check the pic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Spessart_(A_1442)_entering_New_York_Harbor.jpg i'd imagine if it was low light you wouldn't have a clue at all it was a military vessle. heh maybe they'd been on the rum
Well it wouldn't have a chance in hell of hitting a small speed boat with them at close range :/

I'm sure anywhere within the nearest 1/2 mile of a 16" broadside should suffice
Must admit, despite the success in catching them.... it seems a little sad that it needed vessels from 4 navies and 5 hours to catch a paltry speedboat.
Rules of engagement change time needed.
Oh... and did anyone mention - EPIC FAIL!
