Pixie Lott

THere is a difference between warbling because you like it and put it in a song and warbling because you can't hold a note. Unfortunately you can't always tell which is responsible, however you can either like that style or not, its personal preference. In the main parts of the song its not too irritating, the filler bits that aren't even words were irritating though.

Not terrible, not great, can't quite decide how hot her body is, every other day I see a picture or vid where she looks either pudgey, or fantastic, could well be her age and growing, see what she looks like in a couple years. Unfortunately music wise she's generic and boring, thats her most interesting song, the last thing she released was tragically bad with an embarassing video, the first one she looked pretty hot in, but more boring pop crap.

You can find girls on youtube doing cover songs in their bedrooms that are 10 times better than this garbage. :D

So you're saying she can't hold a note? Are you listening to the same singer I am. Try listening to the bits where she's not warbling, she CLEARLY holds strong notes throughout

No irony there at all.

BEing able to hold one note doesn't equal the ability to hold many different notes, I also, if you would care to try READING what I said, didn't say she couldn't sing nor that she couldn't hold those notes. I said its possible she likes singing that way, or that she can't hold her notes.

A TRULY great voice can hold almost any note and will only use a note they can hold, plenty of people do it way to much as a style though and it mostly sounds completely stupid. Aguilera would be one who does it constantly throughout her whole range, but its perfectly obvious she can sing the same notes without warbling when she wants to.

Funbags, otherwise known as Mariah Carey holds notes in her middle range perfectly, everyone tarts on about her massive range, but her very upper and lower stuff is always warbled, always, because those harder ranges she can't hold very well. Decent singer obviously but also sings utter utter tosh.

As said, Lott seems like she can sing, but her first two things were generic turdpiles, the latest one is better "music" but still bland and dull lyrics, cliched bull that I could happily live out the rest of my days never hearing again.

She's hot, cute and pretty, but her music couldn't be more boring.

To be perfectly honest and no insult meant, if you're not sure if she can hold her notes or if she just enjoys warbling, based on that performance, then you really aren't qualified to comment on singing. I don't care if no one likes the song. I really don't even care if they don't like her style! There's always better singers, of course. But to say that she's an AVERAGE singer (lol?) or even to imply that her warbling is to cover up deficiencies in her ability to hold a note (just listen to her singing in the chorus for proof that she can hold notes and powerfully) just defies belief.

Listen to it again, in the studio. This voice is a belter, make no mistake. ;)

Find me one.

I gotta agree about the warbling.
WHY? Why with the constant warbling?!?!?
She may even be a decent singer beneath all that, but the fact is it sounds like she (and all the other warblers out there these days) cant sing for poo.

+1

I could barely understand one word in five. Mediocre song; mediocre voice; mediocre performance. Utterly forgettable. Just another pop tart from the industry conveyer belt.

Nice try, but no cigar for you. If you think any of those girls even remotely compare to pixie lott's voice, then, well, you carry on thinking that. ;)

Not really. I can name several singers who are even better than her and who I prefer and who I'd rather argue over. Just astounded by the sheer ignorance of people here who cite good singers as rubbish. Clueless tbh.

I'm in work so can't see the vids posted so don't know which song it is. Albeit not my kind of music so not something I would listen to normally, I have heard her on the radio a few times. I'd say generally in her studio recorded stuff she sounds quite good. However, I've only ever heard her once singing live on tv. Personally I thought she sang very poorly, I can only assume if she does have that good a voice that she had a cold or something? That was about a week or two ago.
