Plain cruel, please sign

Jesus, he wants to do it again....

You see, the point he was making was that people are apathetic to others' plights, and this dog dying without intervention in the whole time proves exactly that. This petition is too little too late for that dead dog, but it may help with the next one. One can only hope...

What is worse, the artist for doing it or the apathy of the visitors?

I'd put them on a par.

I think this is a perfect example of art becasue it forces us to examine something that we would rather not. I find it disgusting, yet I think there is far more value in allowing it to happen again.

The first dog could have quite easily been saved by any of the visitors.

I suspect security guards would have apprehended anyone attempting to free the dog.

Still, I am horrified and disgusted that nobody even tried. :(

its seems a cruel act but some countries dont value animals the same way we do

i suppose in an artistic sense then its very thought provoking although i wont be putting a print up above my mantle piece

not sure what good a petition will do as i cant see the artist caring tbh

Id like to give the artist a kicking, in the head.

Then take a pee on him.

Because that would be productive... don't get me wrong, I'm all for beating the **** out of anything that offends us or that we don't understand BUT I think the reaction is far more important than anyone's personal sense of offence.

But I think the artwork perfectly illustrates what it set out to do - the idea that people would rather have STRONG OPINIONS and do nothing, that people would rather have something that they dislike taken away by the authorities than examine just WHAT they're looking at...

It looks as though that dog didn't have the most enjoyable life judging by the look of it so what gives that ass hat the right to make it much worse.

It certainly is more art than some of the so-called pieces of 'art' that float around nowadays, albeit a cruel way of doing so. (perhaps that's the only way of doing it?)
