I think he was linking you to the official total from both Kickstarter and Paypal, that's on their facebook page

Oh yeah that is the official total from the two, but I believe that Kickstarter and Paypal both make % deductions from them as 'fees' which is where my rough total came from

They all do, Amazon, PayPal and Kickstarter. Fees are generally for card processing and profit/running costs for Kickstarter.
