£60? July? So being released earlier than i expected at a cheaper price point than i expected... i would be lying if i said i wasn't pleased.

From what I've seen - no. A CAM slot has not been mentioned in any of the sneak peeks etc so I'd bet that it doesnt have one. Maybe this is coming soon - I dont know.

Drat! I was really hoping it would be released by July 1st. I have some programmes on BBC Learning Zone that I need to record. Now I'll have to wait until they are on again in November. Will definitely be picking one up though.

I wonder if the software will allow you to take screenshots and save them into your PS3 photo folder.

I would imagine it does or it would be implemented in a future firmware update as typically they tend to cater to what people request on their semi official firmware website and i imagine it'll be a pretty popular demand. Worst case scenario, you could transfer the recorded program over to your PC and simply take a screenshot on that.

The menus and OSD look fantastic, very crisp and HD... Sky could learn a few things from that. Are these just mocked up images or does France actually have HD channels that PlayTV can pickup?

I'll get one, once i can get remote play working properly, being able to watch tv on the PSP from anywhere will be fun.

Sony has denied it, "that place" has removed the price and the date now says 21st October.

****** - I thought Sony had got their act together (they have done well with the PS3 firmware by all accounts) butthis is a huge disappointment
