Would like to see this, works well in Arma. Also for grass to flatten as you roll/prone.

Will eliminate those end of game crawling matches, although the can be quite fun when you have plenty of nades :D
 
Looking forward to the first person only servers when they officially appear. Won quite a few last stand-offs purely due to third person view and seeing someone moving through some long grass - first person is either going to force people to be more aggressive, or turn it into a very boring camp session... Hopefully the former, but third person does feel very advantageous in the long grass fields.

yeah but its not a one way street. Agree with above, most people will play the third person, simply because everyone is used to it now and first person is going to up the 'shot out of nowhere' frustration factor by a hundred unless they're adding deathcams.

they patched a lot of that stuff. it's best avoiding most of those tips tbh. just use optimal settings for your card/driver.

for example foliage on low no longer gives an advantage. i run foliage on ultra.

3rd person promotes camping.. 1st person people will be peaking more for info..

think ull be surprised DG.. think 1st person servers are gonna be very popular.. a lot of my BF mates have stopped with pubg cause of 3rd person and the announcement of 1st person is making them come back!

if they get fov/animations/etc right then ill be very happy!

I think the game is fine as it is. I wont be playing it as a fps there are enough boring fps's out there without making another.

What next ultra realism? Please no.

Have you played any 1st person Pubg?
 
I've only managed to play two round of fpv and both were stupidly campy. Hopefully when it becomes a more core thing it'll reduce but I'm not holding much hope.
 
I recently gave in after being fed up of every single person on my friends list playing this. Quite enjoy it but feel the £26.99 a bit strong for what you get.

Even with the best weapons you still need some skill.

Crates give;
Awm
M24
M249
Adrenaline shot
15x
Tommy gun
And various other stuff you can find in normal looting.
