PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Ya I had the 558s previously and also modded them.. but the headband started to fault so I gave them to my mates daughter..

Love 599s even better in ivory then black.. been listening to a lot of asmr aswell recently as I've had problems with sleep.

that is quite literally the worst way to play.

i used to play passive but the game rewards kills not finishing first. for example you can now win a game with 0 kills and get like 75BP. you can get 2 kills within the first 5 minutes and die and get 200BP.

also it's just a looting simulator rather than proper fighting. i'd rather be in the action and die trying than running around in the blue medding like a lil *****. i don't care if i lose so long as i get kills. obviously i play to win but the game rewards aggressive play and it's far more enjoyable to play aggressive than it is to camp in a toilet for 3 hours with a shotgun. anyone can play like that.

I prefer to play tactically, I won't hang around in the blue but sometimes its clever to hide for 2 mins trying to let a firefight work out and coming up with the best plan of action.

I'm a fan of a quieter drop to loot up instead of dropping into Pochinki, I like getting kills but not pointlessly dying when I cant even gear up. I don't like either extreme of gameplay

Nah, winning is the only thing that matters in this game, you can kill 98 players and still lose if you don't become first.

That said, this girl can handle herself in a firefight.

You don't learn much by killing one player for example. Getting into high traffic areas and learning looting techniques, target prioritisation and weapon handling you will learn bucket loads. Yes you will probably make many mistakes by getting dropped quickly at the beginning of games but I guarantee you will become a better player because of it.

battleeye cheat current figures

" We are currently banning at a rate of 6K-13K per day, nearly 20K within the last 24 hours alone. The vast majority is from China."

Serious, serious, what the hell you get out of cheating, in gaming, even if i get a spam kill i feel bad, and dont count it in my head :)

Only reason I can think of is they do it as much as possible before getting banned to get the loot boxes and make a quick buck

Regardless of which mode you choose, you are guaranteed 20 BP for each kill.

So some of these turds are getting 50-60 kills per battle, a win adds 400 on top of that, so thats 1400 to 1600 per game assuming a win.

steam regional pricing for china is £10.70 for battlegrounds, you spend a couple of days botting and how many crates you think you could get? Shift those and theyre probably making a profit on the game.

Some are farming stuff to sell, thats why a lot of hackers are chinese - 1 crate = average hourly wage. Most though I reckon are just kiddies, and by that I include grown ups throwing a tantrum, feeling powerful in a game where they can't in RL. Others for the excitement of cheating? Who cares, ban em all.

Rediscovered my love of PUBG with first person, thought id hate it but gave it a spin the other day and tactically its a whole new game. Loving it at the moment, plus being a noob again means I dont have to deal with hackers, thumbs up!

just saw this on the battleye twitter

I don't think he hated third person. i think it was shroud that did or summ1t.

He has always given advice on how to do things in third person and explained both it's pro's and cons. He seems to know a hell of a lot about the mechanics and gunplay too.

Sacriel really hated 3rd person. Before FPP servers were released he mentioned to summit that he dreaded streaming the game. He got sponsored by fortnite to stream there game but he is definitely putting more hours that I would expect.

i play tactically too. however i'm not one to sit in the blue and med for a whole game. that is playing it like a lil *****. no matter what anyone says that is the worst way to play this game.

when it comes close to the end i'll even tell people let them fight it out and thin the numbers down and we will take on whoever wins when they are healing or running into the circle.

staying in the blue for 5-10 mins medding. i can't see the fun side. it's playing to win no matter the cost. i get more fun out of a game if i kill 10 people and lose than i do if i win with 2 kills. each to their own but that girls strat is the worst way to play this game anybody could do it. it takes zero skill.

Is it fun at all on your own or do you need to play in squads, and do you really need to have CSGO type skills to get anywhere on it as I don't class myself remotely 'decent' at all playing on line or would I just be wasting my time?

I think it depends what kind of player you are man, I enjoy all the modes (solo, duo and squad). Squad is probably my least favorite as when you engage with an enemy you always have to remember there's another 3 who are gonna try to kill you. That's why I like solo as when you see someone and kill them they die instantly, but obviously same goes for you. If you can get one buddy to play with I think duo is the best. Although I do have fun in solo as I can put my headphones on and get really into the game. Either way it's a super fun game as frustrating as it can be quite often.

I personally think Squad play is the best part of this game. Playing with 4 others working together is really awesome.

I think most people would be looting through the blue not just sitting there, though I have not watched the vid / stream.

Assuming it's so easy though, can you manage 5 back to back wins?

i think we had 3 back to back wins earlier in squads.

however if i was to play passive i reckon you could get top 10 back to back 10 times in a row. however it's just not fun staying outside the zone avoiding everyone looking for meds to keep on healing with

Wins no but top 10s from hiding until last few circles yeah easily done.

I prefers agressive, **** hits the fan playing. I'm not dumb/good enough to drop school constantly though :(.
