Anyone experienced a bug where the game crashed (bad module), and then when you reconnect to the same game, you are no longer recognised as part of your squad? Like your squad sees you as an enemy (no logo on top of character), and they can't res you etc.

Very annoying

This is ridiculously annoying - you can't res them either!

And the game crashes so often it happens in 50% of squad games

aye, that bug has been kicking about off and on for quite some time now. alt tabbing while in the lobby, while probably not the sole cause, certainly imo increases that risk of it happening.

Yep, very annoying especially when they don't realise and kill you with friendly fire, but can't revive you

Started playing again and it feels like the game crashes a lot more than I remember. My crashes don't seem to be "bad module" though. It just says PUBG crashed. Crashes maybe once every four games, how often for you in total?

I still haven't had any crashes for a few weeks yet, weird.

Might be because the loot isnt loading in for me when the people I run into in the same places are lvl 3'd to the hilt with an arsenal of automatic weaponry.

definitely something to do with that.

Varies from multiple times in a match, to once in a few hours. Occurs from spawn island to the final circle (guess which of those is more aggravating!).

Played mostly FPP today, so that might be it, but no cheaters at all.

Anyone else noticed less or even no cheaters since the patch?

not had any crashes in ages.. even on my 8700k at 5ghz... system is rock stable.. i did however have some weird lag on US Server today were the game just froze for about 10 seconds then some weird crackling sound happened then it went all smooth again!

Played about 10 matches Solo-FPP on NA and knock on wood, haven't seen a blatant cheater yet. Maybe there is hope for the game.

I kept getting bad module crashes, fixed it by running my ram at its rated speed as I had it OC’d from 2133 to 2400.

From what I read, the bad_module error happens in quite a few different games since the fall creators update.

Havent seen any tonight either, but been playing FPP anyway.

However, looking at the steam discussions earlier it was flooded with QQ484848349530495 etc posting new threads, so I'm guessing theyve updated their cheats to avoid it already.
