PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

That's a coincidence. I've just bought a new headset this morning. I should not wake up early from baby screaming and start browsing Amazon. I got some active sound cancelling Bose headphones on the way. Going to use it for traveling with my ipad too, so can't wait for them to arrive tomorrow. Should be more than good enough for a bit of gaming (using the wire) rather than wireless while browsing the ipad.

If you'd gone for the Sony's you could have gamed wirelessly too :)

I've tried the HyperX Cloud Flight, I would say they're very good, although rather basic. I'm currently trying the Steelseries Pro Wireless, which are £300 of headphone and I'm not sure they sound better than the HyperX CF. They do have loads more features though. I've then got the SS Arctis 7 waiting to be tried next week. The HyperX CF and SS A7 are both around £130.

strangle I had QH90's before as well. Superb headphone, faultless but I wanted to switch to wireless.

That's exactly where I'm at right now.

So, are those hyper X clouds (I've looked now and they aren't the same as the QH90's in design) smaller than the QH90's regarding head fit? When you said the wireless arctics, my mind went to the Arctis Pro's, the top end of wireless from steelseries mkaking the Cloud 2's look a bargain if not much in them. But now I see the 7's you mention are only ~£20 more. Maybe it's the 7's for me too then.

Thanks for that (fellow big swad) really useful info, especially when someone comes from the same headset. Cheers!

I've always used decent headphones but I did try out the regular HyperX Cloud's and they sounded so terrible I sold them right away. Sticking to proper headphones.

It now gets you nearest server, BUT! Global Matchmaking will take you to USA or Asia if they need your rank. */!?? My last game had 332ms ping.

no worries - both sets sounded very good but the comfort of the arctic 7 won for me. They both were good on my big head and also remember that the headset will probably stretch a bit over time.

I've been quite lucky, since the update all most my games 8/10 have been low ping 20-30ms servers with the odd, Ipresume NA server with 100-110ms ping

Got my first cheating player banned message today as well , which was nice

Beyerdynamic dt 990 pro with a mod mic is what I use and they are the best most comfy headphones I haved used to date (prefere the open back design)

They are not cheap though...

I use HD595 with mod mic through a Schiit Fulla2 usb headphones amp DAC.

Very comfortable, can wear them all day long.

Perfection! :-)

Thought I'd be helpful and throw some smoke over to where a teammate was reviving another, hadn't realised I must have double pressed the button and selected a normal gren instead, oops.

It's ok I went to pick up two team mates who were getting shot and threw a stun instead of a smoke and we all died blind.

No talk of the new ranks built into the game now guys? Currently half way through Platinum on both Duo Squad.

Calibrated Platinum Duo and Gold Squad. Although we only needed 1 top 10 finish to then hit Platinum on Squad. Squads tends to be quite hard for us as we usually 3 stack instead of 4. Having that missing player can really hurt in the final circles.
