PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

i've played all modes and squads is by far the hardest. first off all in solo mode all you get is kills no knockdowns. no need to worry about a second, third or fourth player shooting at you. it's one on one whereas in squads you can get 4 v 1 or 1 v 4. you also need to worry about revives, etc too.

also in squads if you get pinched in between 2 squads you are going to get mullered. inbetween 2 solo players you can kill one then hide behind a tree for the other.

you clearly don't know this game very well. solo play is basically easy mode. you only need to worry about 1 player at a time.

I'm surprised you didn't mention how you play with top 100 players all the time and you beat TSM, Liquid, aAa and NiP in the final circle once, just like Destiny 1.

Sonny being Sonny, talking utter nonsense.

?? What part has he posted that is utter nonsense?

Personally I disagree with Psycho Sonny.

Solos by far has the most amount of RNG, people can be anywhere and act in a more random manner. You can predict enemies actions much more easily in squads.
If you follow pro players, a good win rate in Solos is 25~30%. In squads a good win rate is about 60%+ and this includes them messing around a lot.
It's also much easier to get a higher K/D in Squads.

Aside from the condescending remarks and explanation of PUBG modes to someone who has clearly played the game before (i.e. no knockdowns in solo), it's things like "solo play is basically easy mode" and "you only need to worry about 1 player at a time". His opinion expressed as fact.

On the contrary, my opinion is that solo play is more difficult at higher ranks than squads, especially when chasing high kill games. However, it's my opinion and not a fact, so feel free to disagree.

Well in solo it's a 1 in 100 chance of winning if all players are of an equal skill level. As there are 100 different teams of 1.

In squads it's a 1 in 25 chance of winning if all players are of an equal skill level. As it's 25 teams of 4.

that is referring to chances of winning being different. Albeit solo is IMO easier to play it's harder to win as you are competing with more players as only 1 can be the eventual winner. however i do believe it's far easier to win engagements in solo play vs squads.

Then you have the fact that pro players tend to play with other pro players. So you literally have a team of pro's vs normal players so obviously there chances of winning have just went up tenfold. So your argument about pro's stats is meaningless. Better players tend to play with better players so using pro's stats as your method is wrong as 4 pro's in a team will muller most peoples squads.

You just have to get used to how Sonny talks, and not take it so seriously. I never used to like him until I played PUBG with him. Now I tolerate him, and he's happy so long as I'm not looting his buildings :p

squads is easier if you got decent players.think how many decent people play with a decent 4 every game ? not many. so you got a decent 4 you should be close every time.

How many solo rounds have you played? Just out of interest...

  • Improved the red zone bomb sound effects and modified the volume of the explosions

Nice, needed a tweak IMO, was pretty nuts at times

Why not come on Discord and try your hand at squads with this lot @~>Dg<~ ?

Its because his chances of winning would drastically decrease. I can personally vouch for that, for example, I was in one game the other night where one of my fellow OcUK squadmates beached a UAZ on a picnic bench in Mylta meaning we had to walk forever to get to the circle....

:P

Can't think who'd be such a berk as to do that :D

i played it a few times a few seasons ago basically when i first got the game. i don't like playing any games solo tbh, i prefer team games and modes.

the only solo game i used to enjoy was fifa. the only single player game i have played in full in a decade would be GTA. i only like team multiplayer games it's my preference.

however when i did play solo back at the start i won 2 memorable games. the first i didn't need to kill anyone in the last 30. i lay prone in some grass. everyone killed each other and ended up dying to the zone as i lay there watching, it was all very boring tbh but I won, in fact that might have been a duo game and my partner died at the start now that i remember it. another i won with 8 kills i was actively running around shredding with a micro uzi. even got called a hacker during the spree as i shot a guy in the back and he turned and retaliated but it wasn't enough as i had the drop on him. that was deffo a solo game as i screenshotted it and sent it to a couple of mates who had just got the game and they responded with HAX!!! as a joke.

if nobody is on ocuk discord i just jump on the reddit one to find a squad. i play for fun though not for k/d or to win at all costs. i'd rather rush someone and lose than stay back. i know some people play to win at all costs and bait others into easy kills. i actively go for crates, etc regardless of the fact it will likely get me killed and lose the game. in fact your mate robi is an active baiter he's tried baiting me several times and that translates into his fps too, rather than help his team he would rather bait someone for an easy kill. it's why i have him on ignore on discord as well as on here. sad little troll has been following me about for years. does he seriously have nothing better to do with his sad little life than to follow me about on a forum and discord?
