PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

decent competition fortnite has 30 million players now.

was in a live stream last night as some guy with a aimbot on and wallhacks gunned down our 3 man squad.was the most blatant id seen.first shot my mate from about 500m.i picked him up and i said get in the truck i will take us away and you heal.we were probably 600-700m away behind a group of haystacks and this guy was just spamming them auto fire every hit where we would be without cover.as soon as we came out hit and killed my mate.so i drove off took cover behind a rock fired a kar shot to let him know where i was then 6 shots auto fire instantly into me.lol the guy wasnt even facing me just span and locked on . with the 3 burst ar.

loads of 2nds yesterday which was annoying.:p

Which is why retrospectively banning accounts isn't the answer. They will just buy another one as an acceptable cost of doing business. They need something in game that can detect a cheat and boot them.

Also, I think someone said (Dg?) at one point 10-15% are cheating, that's normal for games. Even though we're seeing loads, surely it can't be that high? That would mean every game you join, 10-15 of the opposition are cheating? Really?

There's loads of ways they 'could' do it but they aren't that bothered, if people are still buying the game anyway they don't need to combat it any harder.

As proved with the useless report function people are still able to play weeks after evidence of cheating. That's time enough to buy another 5 crates and sell them on.

I thought we established they do it for money, selling crates?
So why cheat in games where loot crates aren't a thing? Certainly in this game the loot crate system almost encourages cheating but there must be other factors that convince people to cheat beside financial reward otherwise you would only see cheaters in games like this.

Besides money, people cheat because they suck at the game and want to ruin the fun of others. I don't think anyone that is good at a game could get any satisfaction out of cheating.

Anyone play Escape from Tarkov? How does it compare to PUBG?

EFT is nothing like PUBG. The similarities end at "multiplayer arena". EFT is great, but at the same time incredibly brutal, especially if you don't know what you're doing. Not a game I'd really recommend, at least at its current state of development, for people wanting a PUBG game / replacement.

That's not necessarily true either though, just look at the number of 'pro' csgo players that have been caught cheating. Admittedly it could be argued they were still doing it for financial gain, but they could hardly be said to suck at the game.

I imagine there are plenty of players who don't suck at pubg that are cheating and that's what I can't get my head around.

Cheater or not?

Came across another cheater today, chucked together a few clips from replay to see what you think.

downhill fast this game.....2 games tonight - 2 hackers clear as day.....this is getting ridiculous now.

Same dude. Played FPP for 20 games, no cheaters. Switched to TPP and got cheaters 2 games in a row. Only playing FPP from now on.

100% cheater

Had no problem with the game for awhile now but these last two days! - Lag, Rubber Banding, Picking up items and it's not instant, doors not opening instant having to press F again. Multiple shots to an enemy face at close range and he survives one shot I die :/

Think I'll take a break :)

The lag at the start is awful, killed so many times by that i've stopped dropping on pop zones. Had loads of hmmmm moments, just now one guy who heard me crawling from 100metres, or else could see through walls cough. Im with you on taking a break, the game is starting to get on my nerves so why play?

Came across another obvious cheater. 400m away with holographic on a scarf, aim bot whole squad with the cross hairs jumping from player to plate through the bushes and trees.

I find this happens a lot more now we're ranked top 1%in Europe.
