PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Came across another obvious cheater. 400m away with holographic on a scarf, aim bot whole squad with the cross hairs jumping from player to plate through the bushes and trees.

I find this happens a lot more now we're ranked top 1%in Europe.

Yes, the higher rank you get the more cheaters you will see (since cheating will get them great stats). Even in FPP. IMO Blueballs is paying cheating prevention lip service. The majority of the time they ban a cheater, another game copy is sold. Nothing actually gets done to prevent cheating besides banning. So the number of cheaters in game won't actually go down much. It has actually been increasing the last week or so.

as I suggested quite some time ago, it's shaping up to be WarZ all over again. they couldn't give a ******* **** how many people cheat. in fact quite possibly they are happy to have cheaters. they get to ban a few thousand every now and again knowing full well they are going to rebuy the game anyway. so a nice steady income stream.

Exactly. They will come out with their press releases "we've banned 10,000 players this month". It will make for good propaganda but won't actually fix the cheater problem.

Are they banned from steam or just pubg? But they'll likely just have crappy steam account with Cs go and pubg
Just pubg. No vac bans. So they just go and buy the game again and again and again and again!

Edit: that's if they are even getting banned. I've submitted numerous reports to their support page with video evidence to back it up and they are still playing.
I'm not even sure if the ingame report option is finctioning

They probably have like one dude on their staff looking into cheaters. Well, when you get thousands of requests a day probably, only a small fraction will get actioned.

not dg though :p

the thing is pc spec can cause the lag hes on about some dont know the difference.8gb ram = lag. no ssd = huge lag spikes. low end cpu or slower than needed = lag. crappy gpu same.

the higher spec pc you got the less you will notice issues. the rubber banding from servers yes it is a short thing at the start.i can take a minute of it though out of a 25-30minute game.

That's because it's a poorly optimised turd that you will defend to the death.

Anyway, plenty of people with massive spec PC's get those issues aswell.

i dont think its poorly optimized i get since 1.0 literally 144fps constant.i do get the rubber banding at the start when you get a bad server.its a 2017 game you need modern gear but...the server can be trash but thats not a game optimizing thing its a server thing.

thats why i asked what his spec was to see if its a server related issue or a pc issue. you do get many in here moaning about performance on ancient i5s on amd cpus and old gpus made in 2011 saying a 2017 game isnt optimized.

I get 144 constant, it still feels/looks and plays crap through.

I want this to be good, I'm not here to hate on it, but it should be much further forward than it is, it is still beta at best tbh. Just because you have no issues, it doesn't mean the game is great, I'm sure you swore the game didn't have a cheating problem because you hadn't seen any, we all know how that's coming about.

Same here, they've resolved the low FPS issues, but the game play (netcode) is awful. I can't help but feel if they had a UK server, with only UK people latency wouldn't be so bad but I keep reading about low tick rates of servers and I genuinely wonder how they release this game as version 1 with so many fundamental flaws.

when it first came out. people ranted about cheats. which is probably what you were reffering to when i said something.at that time early on there was less than one percent of the base.i think it was actually 0.5 of the base. i did work it out.obviously as the games grew, much more people who would have guessed more cheats came in.the thing is there is still the same amount of player base cheating in this game as any other popular fps game.the difference is in this game your end game is 25 minutes of gearing to the end that if you are cheated then it stings.in battlefield a aimbot is just huuuh leave this server start new one. no real investment.

as pc gamers many rage as do i at silly little things.just dont get bent in rage about the cheating.most of us must enjoy it enough to keep playing.so all we can do is either rage rant and stop playing or just enjoy the game and just ignore the cheats which we all know are there but is it that game effecting that you cant play ? i play many hrs a day i do see cheats i do win regular or top ten most games and its not that common or common enough to make me stop enjoying the game.

some players are bad blame cheats.some are cheating.the thing is once cheating comes into chat on forums and a big talking point its easy to over play how common it is or how disruptive it is to actual playing.

i know if i play call of duty for eg or battlefield in ten games i will probably run into a more frequent amount of cheats that pubg.so what option is there ?

you hope bluehole or whoever is dealing with the cheating. sorts it. they do say they are working on things and two anticheats are running since 1.0 and cheats are down. or you dont give them a chance and just stop playing. the games still pretty new.im impressed more than i thought i would be with what they accomplished in such a short year. it will be great to see the latest figures since the new anticheats are running together vs before 1.0.

Its frustrating when your down to last few and get killed by cheaters.

On another note i've had some serious fun playing with various OcUKers this week. Some great teamwork.

Kutter.

You really need to read more carefully then we wont have to go around in circles in silly conversations. Just to complete the circle - i7-5820K, 970, 16GB, 850 Evo SSD - so no great shakes but lag during the game not an issue as I might have noticed it during the last 647 hours played.
