Is it normal when viewing the death cam for the cross hairs to be nowhere near you when you die? I’m talking about 3/4 of an inch off my head on my screen. Quite like the DC idea, nice to see where you made mistakes.
Seems so. I was down to last 2 and guy killed me with a head shot from a scar and I had a lvl 3 helmet on 100%. DC showed him fire 3-4 shots way off the left of my torso songo figure.
Got my first long range kill with the VSS the other day, I was aiming about a good distance above the targets head, luckily he went prone and started to pop shot me, so i could guide the round in. Hard but fun to use.
Mini is great, I use it as the main weapon as well most of the time if i find one and a shotgun.

Nope. All footsteps including my own are pretty loud to be fair. I read somewhere going bare foot makes less sound but that was then teated and disproven.
Miramar has the same 8x8 grid size but more of the 'usable' map is out towards the corners whereas Erangel has lots of water surrounding the main land which is why it feels smaller. Rotation is random yes, but they're thinking of introducing a selection filter.

Its not a long range weapon. its 9mm so the bullet drop is pretty big. however medium range its a pretty effective weapon. I have had some long range kills with it but it takes several kits and a lot of aiming high. Personally i like the SKS semi auto and with a 8X scope pretty unbeatable. yes the KAR98 is great but miss that first headshot and the reload time is too long. with the VSS being silenced it makes it ideal for close /medium sniping.

You could delete the game files to select just playing one map but i believe the anti cheap software has not stopped this.

That feel when you get a fully kitted out SKS (8x, Vertical Foregrip, Cheek pad, Silencer) on Miramar is one of the best in the game!
Although 9/10 when you've got this you'll die to the zone because you forgot to check your map and not fire a shot =|

Try loudness equalization in sound properties. Makes quieter sounds louder and louder sounds quieter. The Windows one isn't optimally configured, it compresses a bit too much so you lose some directional sound (i.e harder to tell how far away shots are) but it makes footsteps very loud. If you want a better one you can use Voice Meeter Banana which you can configure more.
