PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Fair play though already got a message saying the account has been temporarily suspended for unusual gameplay patterns whilst they conduct further investigation.

Is there a bug or something? Folk seem to be dying, myself included, really very quickly to auto fire... almost like armour is not contributing?

Something doesn't feel right last couple of days. Full armor and dying to ~2 bullets on full spray. Oh and de-sync is back in. Died multiple times 4 feet behind cover. This game is always 1 step forward and 2 steps back.

This guy seemed to take a few bullets to drop. I know there was no headshots and he could well have had a level 3 vest but seemed to take atleast 10 bullets in the chest

Stupid ass flash-bangs are WORTHLESS in this game. Oh, let's slightly blur the screen so that your opponent can still clearly see you, so AMAZING.

Anyone else find how powerful close range the G36 is; odd? It's TTK seems way better than its stats would allude to. Seems like I am dying from 2 bullets from it always, like I'm not wearing armor.

Apparently a bunch of pro players caught in this wave as well. Something to do with routing game through vpn and then looking at a second device not on the pc to see players and item positions.

Cheating the old way was bad enough as it is but to use hardware packet sniffers to get around anti cheat is taking the ****.

Happy they caught them the cheating ******.

PUBG is running like a dog for me currently. Never had any issue like this. Was fine since latest patch until yesterday where gameplay got really jerky in places. Today even the lobby menu where your player stands there its just jerking constantly. Overlay shows no noticeable drop in FPS, GPU/CPU issues but its just horrible. Network connection is also clean. Have updated to latest Nvidia drivers, uninstalled game and reinstalled no change. Ran virus checks etc. Can play other games like BF1 no problem at all.

The scary part is that for every cheater caught, there are 3 that are smart enough to not make it noticeable. More cheaters than people realize.

I see ESP quite often. Ever run into a looted town with a lot of buildings to find half the interior doors still closed? It's because using ESP they know nothing good is behind that door and they move on. I see ESP use by other players not that uncommon.

IMO game companies should work with Steam and a confirmed cheating violation means their entire Steam account is banned permanently.

that is totally different what they doing. just shows how people say pubg are useless when they are doing what they said they would. was on about hardware banning recently they wont do anything ! was what most said now look !

100% Proof there is still massive De-Sync in PUBG
What should end up being one of the easiest kills of all time ends up with me dead and the opponent not taking a single HP of damage. I've got this dude totally surprised and he runs right for my door, I open fire the INSTANT I hear/see the door pop open one inch full auto in the face with a Beryl, I end up "insta-dying" and if you look closely, AFTER I'm already dead, my magic bullets hit his body, at least 3 of them. On his screen, it's as if I didn't even fire. (door see through bug).

I was AT LEAST 1/2 second de-synced versus my opponent. There is NO way you can explain away an opponent opening a door, registering a player in front of you and reacting, then getting 4 perfect bullets hits on you before not a single bullet ever registered from someone camping behind the door, prepared, insta-auto spraying once the door is cracked open an inch, right in someone face. Not a SINGLE bullet registered. This is EXACTLY what I experienced while playing, you cannot fake this. If there was no de-sync, what happened there would be virtually impossible. From when I fired those bullets, to them actually hitting the character was at LEAST half a second. These are the magic disappearing bullets that "go through" people and never register that myself and other are talking about.

That was a perfect setup to show how ridiculously awful the netcode and de-sync is in this game. I was playing at least .5 seconds in the past compared to this other player (who has crap stats by the way), there is no way in hell anyone is going to tell me that was a legitimate kill, let alone not a SINGLE bullet of mine registering a hit.

What am I seeing here? why is there no door?

Not taking away that something is odd but your placement seems wrong. Why are you so close to the (invisible) door and which way was it opening?

That's just the door bug on recordings like I mentioned. I was right behind the door he opened, which opened inward (but hinged away from me). The door at no point was in my line of firing on him.

@Vega - Put your mouse where your crosshair is on the screen, before it disappears.
Look at where your shots are?
First shot missed completely, 2nd+ you grazed his arm a couple of times...
