PlayStation 4 Pro in-bound

following the trends, wait till theres a modular console you can just bolt bits on to. Oh the potential profit to be made.

That's actually quite an attractive proposition - potential pc like performance with the convenience and efficiency of a console. And we'd know about it up front and what to expect. The PS4.5 is a **** in the ass tho!

Another leak saying the gpu is going to be 2x more powerful and the CPU will be a significant upgrade, so, they have split the user base, as well as some VR stuff.

I wonder how much Sony will rob us for the new Sony 4.5
Will be pricey if the rumours of including a 4k bluray player is true. A standalone player is around £500+ at the moment. A good way to obtain one though if it does end up being reasonably priced. My first bluray player was a PS3!

Rob? Surely it is a choice, no?

£349-£399 I should think (if they want to sell it). Possibly more like £499 depending on the 4K player as they are quite expensive right now. PS4K Ultra Edition.

Shame I never had any discs end of 2007. Shame 4K doesn't excite me as it did with HD.

I don't understand the reason for this console, I was under the impression that the PS4 could always play 4K video content. So is this just the potential inclusion of a 4K drive for physical media? I don't see how it needs to be any more powerful for that.

1080P OLED > 4K LCD

It is a shame, 4k is well worth the upgrade. 1080p is pretty poor in comparison now.

no it isn't

4k netflix is no better and actually worse than 1080p blu ray.

Maybe Sony should have started selling the PS4 with 4K player to push 4K sales , saying that it was a little early back in 2013

no chance.

4k tv's are a waste atm. unless you can afford the decent models which are £2000+. if you can then you can afford to spend £500 on a player and £30 a movie so no need to use a console to play them on.

Who mentioned netflix??
I've seen you complain about 4k before. You're like a Ford Fiesta driver going on to a Porsche forum to tell them how crap their cars are. Behave yourself!

He started a whole thread to say the same, shame most people already know this, yet 4K bluray blows 1080p out of the water, but he fails to mention that.
