***** Playstation Move Thread *****

Does the starter pack come with any full games? Just making sure I'm not missing out on anything. ^^

I do hope Sega release some of their classic lightgun games on PS3 now. I love the Virtual Cop and House Of The Dead games.
 
This looks like it might be useful for FPS games unlike the Wii and NATAL. When it works with Killzone or MGS I am in.

All about the games for me, not spending £50 to play some Wii sports style rubbish.
 
I was so disappointed with the Wii. I hope Move is better than unresponsive Wii crap. I'm just worried I'll have made the same mistake twice.
 
Do you need 2 motion controllers/wands for archery in Sports Champions? The image on the front cover suggests so?

No, you can hold the trigger to make a single controller act as the second. Example:

With two controllers you aim with the first, then pull the second back and hit the trigger to fire an arrow.

With one, you aim with it, press the trigger and that will hold your aim in place, you then pull the controller back and release the trigger to fire the arrow.

It's certainly more responsive. The thing i'm worried about is sufficient software support.

No you do all the motions with the one controller, two works better though so i have been told.
Anyone seen a cheapo gun holder for the wand in stores? Cant be bothered to order online and the officical sony raygun is a to much for a bit of plastic.
 
I've just ordered mine, starter pack for £39.70 and nav controller for £24
Then used voucher code "TDX-RTHK" for £10 off (orders over £50)

so a grand total of £53.70 with collect in store tomorrow.

Both The Shoot & Time Crisis are in the same mold as Virtual Cop etc so there is at least two arriving in the near future.
 
had a wii once it lasted me all of 1 day before i sold it, was rubbish imo, the move controller is spot on and very accurate unlike the wii.
 
A supermarket is doing the 320Gb + Move starter pack for £239.99!

I've just got back, and am setting it up now!

Might as well keep the Move starter pack, it should one day become quite useful..

Just tried the Party game with my 4 year old boy, what a load of twaddle, it's wii-shovel ware at it's worst..

But, I was expecting that, just installing sports champions, am expecting a bit more from that... :)

It's damn annoying having to spend 10 mins installing each demo, quite why is beyond me..

Still, I wasn't expecting Move to be awesome or anything, more of a bonus really, it won't be in the front room anyway, that'll be Kinect no doubt (for the kids of course)..

Been playing Sports Champions for a couple hours, am impressed at the precision of the controllers :)

Got quite sweaty playing gladiator duel. Going to play against the girlfriend at table tennis and volleyball later :p
 
I want to buy this but I don't see anywhere in the starter pack any mention of the Navigation controller included, why sell it separate is it not needed or something?

Some of the Sports Champions games like Archery support it. One works as the bow and the other is the "hand" pulling back the arrow etc.
 
Hmm thinking about getting a move controller for my 7yr old, she has eyepet are there any other games that would suit her?

I have a wii allready so is this better/same haven't been keeping up to date on info for it. Currently down my local asda and they have them so a quick reply would be nice
