***** Playstation Move Thread *****

Hmm thinking about getting a move controller for my 7yr old, she has eyepet are there any other games that would suit her?

I have a wii allready so is this better/same haven't been keeping up to date on info for it. Currently down my local asda and they have them so a quick reply would be nice

The boxing thing is pretty fun looking. Might be worth getting resident evil 5 aswell lol

Just been playing with mine for a bit, firstly its a lot more acurate than the wii. Secondly I got mine from tesco's as it has a free game with it for £39 ish. I got the racket sports game and while its good i'm not a big fan of racket sports. I'm just installing the tumble demo that as looks quite fun and the fact the my arm could do with a rest! Overall its good but I wish the ball thing would stop glowing pink all the time :(

They'd be able to play it, its essentially building blocks that you stack to create a tower or bombs you place to blow up a tower. Its on the demo disc if you have one if not the demo is downloadable from the playstation store for free along with a load of other demo's. Take a look.

I really enjoyed the Shoot demo, cant wait till the Time Crisis game comes out it so much more well Better than a wii mote in every way.
Cant See how Tumble got such a low score from IGN i'd give the demo 7/10 lol.

Cool thanks everyone for the info very helpful.

I'm gonna stack up a load of demos to download tonight, it should keep her busy if the weather is rubbish tomorrow (after she has done her homework ofcourse).

I keep reading reviews that you need a large playing area for the Move (vs the Wii where you dont need all that much space) .. my living room isn't wonderfully large, it's perfect for a couple of Wii players but concerned the Move might need more room. Any truth in this?

Cheers!

Picked up my preorder just before 12.

Don't make the same mistake as me and buy it from one of the two biggest gaming store names as they're insanely over charging. Get it from Tesco or something and save your self a heck of a lot. I wanna play but the Motion controllers seems to take for ever to charge. Or maybe it's because I wanna play it's so much it feels like it taking for ever.

Nope been playing in my daughters room which it tiny, probably 5-6 foot from the TV at max.

She'll probably enjoy TV Superstars ;)

Generally playing around 5-6 ft away from a 42" TV. Had to calibrate under the 'accessory settings' menu before everything worked perfectly (most demos worked, but Tumble was way off), but both controllers were 80% charged from the box so no downtime there.

The Shoot demo, and Tumble (full) are favourites at the moment - great fun.
