hi

would like to get the move contoller , but im a bit confused about the navigation contoller , whats this for and do i need it for games like sports champions and high velocity bowling?

thanks

Navigation controller is *only* for the analog stick and D-pad. It doesn't respond to motion.

It is, literally, the same functionality as holding a DS3 in your left hand with the Motion controller in your right hand. Just a bit more comfortable :)

No. So far I've only used it for Resident Evil 5. :)

A second motion controller for some of the games in Sports Champions is better though. :)

I dont think move is on high velocity bowling yet, i think its comming as dlc which you may need to pay for which is a bit crap

Nope the patch is on the store now and works, but you do need a lot of room. Also haven't tried it yet but the patch for MAG is now out.

i wonder if the extra port on the base of the move is going to be used at all.

Since the PS3 can only have 7 assigned controllers it means you couldnt have 4 player shooters that need the move and a DS3/navicon. If they made a lead to connect both it would allow it though.

Download the demos and then decide, tv superstars or Eyepet also seem like child friendly games ( gave my niece a shot of the eyepet move demo and she liked it )

Yeah I already have eyepet but not used it with the move controllers yet.

Picking up fifa 11 this morning and have to get a game with it, so have to decide between Start the Party and Sports one.

Been playing Flight Control HD with the Move controller, works really well. I was also very impressed with the demo of Heavy Rain: Move Edition :)

God the silver cups are hard on sports champion, i did well on archery bronze but on silver the oppoent keeps hitting the target before i do, my forehand backspin slice in table tennis curves over the middle of the table and goes out, the npc are blocking most of my hits in gladiator and seem to be hitting harder :(

I've done silver on Archery, Gladiator and Table Tennis. Took me a couple of goes on certain opponents in Table Tennis and Gladiator but mostly found it fairly simple once you quickly work out their routine. Archery is simple, shoot quickly and on target. I'm sure gold will have me throwing the controller at the TV though.

I'm on the final match of the gold cup on TT. He (Kenji) is practically in a league of his own. Much more difficult than any of the others in Gold cup.

pleased i purchased the move yesterday , loving it so far , two things im struggling at is trying to get my disc in disc golf going in a straight line?

also does anyone know the correct way to serve in table tennis , i always seem to serve so that it bounces really high on the opponents side?

Just need to practice with disc golf. You actually don't need to put much power into the throw as it's more about technique.

As for TT service, it's purely a matter of timing. Wait until the ball is lower before swinging for it.

agreed, i got to the final of gold cup pretty easily but kenji is just too good, played a few games then just gave up!

So I finished RE5 and am almost done with Heavy Rain, and am wondering if I will even keep the move stuff.

Both of those gomes were OK, but don't think I will ever play either of them again.

Been looking at the list of games for move, and the only appealing things I can find (Killzone 3 and Socom 4) are coming some time way into next year!

OK, there is MAG, but I hear the user base is small for that now, so what would be the point?

Really poor show from Sony so far on availability of titles for this system.
