Just stopped playing it for the last 4 hours. It's definitely better with Move. :)

Hell. Yes. if they impliment it like they did in gladiator from SC it'll be great.


I've got the lads over on Saturday two of which dont yet own move as they hadn't heard of it. So many people i talk to have no idea what im talking about even those who are big gamers. There just isnt enough people who know yet, though word of mouth really is shifting units i think.
 
Have to say Gladiator Duel is really a good laugh. Thankfully the glow balls on the ends of the move controllers are rubber though because I got a bit over enthusiast on more than one occasion.

Really peeved at HMV though. Managed to get in on a £9.99 deal for RE5 Gold and placed the order on 28th August but still hasn't arrived. Grrr.

As for Move? It has totally reinvigorated my PS3 which just sat there doing nothing. Really hope they implement it well for upcoming fps games as I can't stand using a controller.

I know they are using it for socom 2. The developers say it works really well. Much better than they expected. Closest thing to a mouse you can get apparently.
 
How long is the usb cable for the camera, as ive read the the ideal range u should be form it is between 5-9 ft and i would be about 4ft 10 away, so was thinking of building a wee ledge slighly behind the tele for it to sit on, but would be dependent on how long the cable is.
 
The cable is pretty long. At a guess, I'd say about 2 metres? Sorry, I can't be bothered to unplug it and measure it. :p

You could always get a USB extension though?
 
It arrived today, tried a quick table tennis on sports champion, the room btween my bed and TV isnt enough so have had to set it up on the side of the tele were i have more room ( down the side of my bed ) but couple of probs with that i wear optical headphones and the cable could get in the way and the charging cable is too small, wont reach :( , time for some small shelf building thru the weekend it seems.
 
Gladiator Duel has told me one thing. I need to get back to the Gym and cut down the drink because I tell ya, half an hour on that kicked my butt lol.
 
I just got a couple of the move controllers from a supermarket online for £47. Seemed like a good deal and made me make the move. (No pun intended ;))

I will have to pick up a copy of sports champion though but looking forward to the gladiator with two controllers.
 
Liking sports champions but have some probs with 2 of the games, the disc golf and table tennis, the golf i keep curving the frizbee when i throw it, usually that a good thing but not when im trying to throw it straight, the table tennis im on the last guy on the bronze and he has found my weakness i usually miss the ball when its down the middle and his serve when it is close to the net so i seem to hit it before it lands which gives him the point :(

I have the same problem with the disc golf. As for the TT yep he serve's like that quite often and it's a bugger to return :(
 
Having no problems with Disk Golf so far. Probably my most played mini-game so far. :)

Just make sure the Disk is straight when you release the trigger, it could be down to calibration? Not sure tbh.
 
For Table Tennis you have to remember to actually move. You can't just stand still and swipe one side or the other. If it comes down the middle at you, you'll need to step to the side and then swipe it.

As for the close serves, it's just a case of waiting for it to bounce before you hit it. Don't lunge forward immediately. :)

Also loving Disc Golf, too. Am about to start Gold Cup on both TT and Disc Golf. :)
 
Thats easier said than done, for some reason it doesnt pick up my body movement and as for the serve its so low that if u dont get it quick it will have bounced twice .


On a side not does anyone now why high velocity bowling wont allow me to use my move controller, i patched it last night with a 128mb file.
 
Figured out what was worng when playing table tennis i must have had it on narrow ( the red ) didnt even notice when i was playing last night, must have switched it from wide to narrow sometime last night.
