PlayStation Plus gets is right!

Ok I caved in and purchased PSN+. I downloaded Sam n Max Devils playhouse – which was a very confusing process… Episode one said (Free Trail) and yet there was another Episode one 100KB download that installed and then disappeared..?? I then grab all remaining episodes and also grabbed my copy of Ratchet and Clank – Quest for Booty or something along those lines..

Next month says its Super Street Fighter HD remix, so I’ll grab this and that’ll pretty much cover the £39.99 I paid.. anything after this is a bonus..

I set the auto update feature for 4am, and I checked this morning and Vanquish Demo was there, so something worked.

£39.99 a year isn’t a lot if you get at least that in games you’ll play, and you get some additional ones that you might not have considered, time will tell if the money was well spent….. To be honest, waste that much going to the cinema a few times…
 
Episode 1 was free to all originally (effectively a trial of the whole series) so I guess the 100Kb was the unlock code for the whole series...

Maybe I should change my download time from 0200 as I've had PSN+ for over a month now and only 1 demo has been automatically downloaded and that was the night after I joined.. :(

Changed it last night to 0400-0600 and had a Vidzone update and the PES demo downloaded this morning, strange..

Coincidence, I got those downloads this morning too (8am - 10am for me). Automatic downloads are few and far between though I am pleased to get game patches included in that as well as firmware updates pre-downloaded :)
 
I see that the EU PSN blog has posted that a Castlevania Lords of shadows demo will be available to us PSN+ subs as well as a free after burner climax theme.
 
Just to say that the October content ends in a couple of days if you havent already purchased it...

Still deciding between Hustle Kings or mavity Crash (or both) - any comments? Ill probably get Hustle Kings as I dont have a pool game anywhere, but I dont think mavity Crash is worth it if Ive already got Pixeljunk Shooter...

Hustle Kings is certainly worth the 3 quid odd it costs on PS+. Two friends have actually bought at it's normal price after seeing it on mine, and it's nice to have a more relaxed game you can play online against your mates.

There's a snooker add on for it that costs £2-something as well.

If you fancy a game sometime, my PSN name is the same as on here.
 
I fins hustle kings annoying cant seem to beat the last person in amateur mode, i break off and she clears up, which is somewhat frustrating, espically as that means i need to go back and get enough hustle credits to play her again :(

Bought it and the Snooker DLC - quite enjoyed it, trick shots made it for me - my god its been a while since Ive seen a PS3 with AA - looks so nice and crisp :)

Didnt bother with the other discounted games (already have Trine - highly recommended). Need to get a PSN card for the RDR Undead stuff now!
