Soldato
Dead Space 2 is from today, not tomorrow.
LOL this is getting funny. I have sold Deus EX, Darksiders and Dead Space 2 recently and got them back now..
because at £29 a year its a price worth paying.
To be honest, I've known quite a few people say that PSN+ has become the better value service. You get online gaming for free, as it should be. And you get a crap tonne of free games monthly aslong as you stay subscribed. I cant imagine Sony wish they could have gone the way of XBox live and charge for online play atall. PSN+ would have been great and no doubt it would have been more detrimental to who owns the biggest market share if it was out from day one on PS3. But keep in mind Sonys online offerings were behind Microsofts in the beginning, due to the original xbox having live. I would essentially say PSN+ is now whats closed the generational gap. ANd it'll be offered from day 1 on the next console. Maybe we'll get party chat too
Re the Dead Space 2 saves... if you have a save from the retail version and your PSN version copy them to a USB stick at look at the folder structure on a computer. They probably have different folder names, you could try copying the content from within the retail saves folder into the PSN saves folder and it'll probably work... it may disable trophies though.
perhaps the saves are protected and will only work on the game they were saved from?
I would have thought that, like Darksiders, EA wouldnt have charged Sony much at all as its great advertising for the sequel thats due out shortly.
Has Borderlands ever been up on offer? I want to buy it and give it a playthrough before Borderlands 2 comes out but you can bet your bottom dollar if I buy it, it will go on offer or be given free as part of the instant game thing.
Mm, it would be a good opportunity to drum up extra sales for Borderlands 2. I would never have entertained Darksiders 2 if it hadn't been for the first one being free.
Red Dead Redemption is the free game next month

It will stream live below – please enjoy!
There is a separate PS+ announcement tomorrow. Rumours are the free game will be Just Cause 2 or Borderlands.
Yay! My wish came true! Now I can play Borderlands on PS3 and pick Borderlands 2 up in September instead of on Xbox as my gold sub has run out and I don't feel the need to renew it when Sony are being so kind to us. LOL.
I was looking into at least a 500GB hard drive for my PS3, only got 33GB free now, though I don't install everything, I just make sure to activate anything free from Plus so I don't lose out on it if I want to play it later.
I used a Western Digital Blue I think it was, you have to be careful with the height? 9.5mm or something, some 2.5" drives can be 11mm and it can be a bit of a tight fit??
I use a 500GB and its hardly got anything on it apart from GT5 install files lol PS+ will soon see that filled from the looks of it..

Cheap enough, think I paid twice that when I got mine which was a while ago now.
